The Metallic Threaded Cable Meter or ISO Metric is suitable for more robust connections due to the depth of the wires used, allowing more security in case of vibration or pressure.
Model Cable Screw Metallic Thread Metric
This threaded model is parallel and is named after its actual outside diameter. In the case of cable glands, this is the diameter C (see table below).
The Metric Thread is identified with a capital M and there are three types of thread pitch: coarse, fine, or thin. In the case of the KrausMuller Line, they are thin. This means that the thread pitch is 1.5mm.
The metal line has superior mechanical resistance to plastic cable glands.
